This Privacy Policy explains how Kleum, operated by Physicore Limited ("we", "our"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal data of contributors and visitors to kleum.com. We act as a data controller in respect of contributor account data and as a data processor in respect of personal data within customer-commissioned datasets.
1. Personal data we collect
- Identity and contact. Name, email, country, city, date of birth (where required for verification), payout details, and where applicable government-issued ID for KYC and AML.
- Credentials (specialist register).Regulator registration numbers, bar admission, academic qualifications, professional body membership.
- Skills and matching. Categories you have selected, language, equipment availability, completed onboarding, quality and reliability history.
- Capture, teleoperation, and annotation data. Recordings, sensor logs, and annotations you produce in the course of contracted tasks. Such data is handled as Deliverables under the Terms of Use and processed on behalf of the relevant customer.
- Device and usage. IP address, browser and device identifiers, session telemetry, and security events.
2. Why we process personal data and lawful basis
- Performance of the contract with you (account, matching, payment).
- Compliance with legal obligations (tax, AML, sanctions screening, professional verification where applicable).
- Legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the platform, preventing fraud, and protecting contributors.
- Consent, where specifically requested (for example, optional marketing communications).
3. Sharing and disclosure
We share personal data only as necessary with: (a) payment, identity verification, and tax-reporting providers; (b) cloud hosting and security providers; (c) customers, in respect of Deliverables produced under their contract; (d) professional advisers and auditors; and (e) regulators or law enforcement where legally required. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share data for cross-context behavioural advertising.
4. International transfers
Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, EEA, or your country of residence, we rely on appropriate safeguards including the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, Standard Contractual Clauses, or equivalent mechanisms recognised by your local regulator.
5. Retention
We retain account data while your account is active and for a defined period afterwards to meet tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, and regulatory obligations. Capture, teleoperation, and annotation outputs are retained in accordance with the customer contract under which they were produced.
6. Security
We apply administrative, technical, and physical safeguards proportionate to the data we handle, including encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, audit logging, segregated environments for customer data, background-checked operations staff, and routine third-party review.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction or deletion of, restriction of processing of, or portability of your personal data, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent where consent is the lawful basis. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection regulator.
8. Automated decisions
We do not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects on you based solely on automated processing. Some matching, quality, and anti-fraud signals are automated; meaningful human review applies to decisions affecting account status or earnings.
9. Children
The platform is not intended for, and not directed at, anyone under 18. We do not knowingly process personal data of children.
10. Changes
We will update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the platform or by email.
